Innovations
A successful example is RFID [link to product description], which was rolled out in 2010 after intensive research in collaboration with a client and which is now available for all our customers. Thanks to RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), crates and labels can be properly registered without the need of scanning them one by one. Besides, RFID provides more information for Track & Trace and about the course of the process, and it provides this information faster, enabling quicker responses.
FindTheCar
For the service process of our customers it is important that the necessary parts are delivered in the car of the engineer before he leaves home. Especially in cities, for some enigeers, it is not always possible to park their cars at the agreed location(s). FindTheCar will present the actual position of the engineer’s vehicle on a map on the mobile scanner of the nox NightTimeExpress driver. This will ensure that the service car will always be found and thus delivered, despite the fact that it is parked in a different place. This reduces costs and prevents delays for end users. The pilot with Eneco showed that, compared with a similar earlier period, cars were 65 % more likely to be found, although the car was not parked in the agreed area .
