nox NightTimeExpress Netherlands B.V. is the pioneer of overnight delivery, before the working day begins, in Central, East and North-West Europe. In most European countries, we were the overnight delivery trailblazers; we have been continuously developing and refining our services since 1964.
Important milestones in our history:-
- 1964: Founding of Kutzner NachtExpress Termindienst in Munich, later renamed NET
- 1970: Founding of Dentex Systeemtransport in the Netherlands
- 1979: The Belgian company starts overnight deliveries
- 1984: NVS starts overnight deliveries on the German market
- 1991: Introduction of the weekend service for manufacturers of agricultural equipment and farmers
- 1993: NET starts its operations in Denmark and the Benelux countries
- 1995: TNT acquires Dentex
- 1998: Gruppe Jet Services acquires NVS – Jet Services Deutschland NVS GmbH
- 1998: Introduction of the Reuseable Box system by NET
- 1995: Founding of NET Austria
- 1996: TNT acquires NET
- 1998: TNT acquires Gruppe Jet Services
- 2000: TNT Dentex becomes TNT Innight
- 2001: NET and NVS become a “TNT Innight” brand
- 2002: Night distribution in neighbouring Poland, Hungary and Slovakia
- 2003: TNT Innight introduces Innight shipping throughout Europe
- 2004: The Austrian company starts operating the new HUB in Ailecgasse in Vienna
- 2005: TNT Innight participates in Walk the World for the benefit of the United Nations World Food Programme for the first time
- 2006: TNT Innight starts operating the new sorting centre in Niederaula, Germany; The Czech Republic and Slovakian companies become part of TNT Innight
- 2007: The brand name is changed to TNT Innight throughout Europe
- 2008: Start of the sandwich degree programme – Vocational training combined with university studies
- 2011: Inspired by the demand for quality, Quality Management (QM) was developed into an Integrated Management System (IMS)
- 2012: Reorganisation of Customer Services – We are here for you!
- 2012: Pieter de Wit and Thomas Steverding become the new management of TNT Innight
- 2013: Online for you – TNT Innight has a new Internet presence
- 2014: Helmut Steiner new CEO TNT Innight
- 2014: TNT Innight celebrates 50th anniversary
- 2016: TNT Innight becomes nox NightTimeExpress
